Mickey Mantle Memorabilia

Mickey Mantle was born in 1931 and became one of the greatest MLB players of all time, with a 1974 induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. His entire career was played for the New York Yankees and spanned 18 years. Mantle passed away in 1995 but is still the recordholder for most World Series home runs, total bases, runs, RBIs and extra base hits.
For these reasons and more Mickey Mantle is an extremely popular MLB player, even to this day. Memorabilia related to him are highly sought after. Mickey Mantle made a vocal appearance on a recording by Teresa Brewer called “I Love Mickey.” In 1961 he became the highest paid MLB player.
Mantle retired in 1969 and his number 7 jersey was retired. He started a highly successful sports bar and even worked at the Claridge Resort and Casino. Mickey Mantle passed away August 13, 1995.
