Go into any bar, club, or tavern, and you’re bound to find this game — Golden Tee® Golf. Officially licensed by Golden Tee®, it’s one of the most popular golf video games available. This is the home version.

The Golden Tee® includes 29 courses with all of the courses designed to copy the actual terrain and weather of the location you’re playing. For example, Painted Gorge, a South-African course based on the topography from the Richtersveld National Park — desertland with scattered rock gardens and mountain landscapes in the background. You can also play at Sapphire Springs, a dangerous course that allows you to play in New Zealand, along the volcanoes at North Island.

The arcade systems comes with a 24 inch color monitor, a trackball that allows you to direct and spin to simulate the motion of a golf swing, plus tee and pin placement options. You also get awesome play-by-play commentary. Hit a drive into a water hazard and you’ll hear about it.

For the home version, the coin door is not activated. If you’re looking to use The Golden Tee® to make a small fortune from your jealous, leaching friends, you’re out of luck.
